Shared Adventures, Personal Attention
Small group tours with a maximum of 12 travelers. Fixed dates, luxury accommodation, Mercedes transport, and expert guides—at prices that reward traveling together.
Not all group tours are created equal. The experience of traveling Morocco in a minibus of forty strangers is fundamentally different from sharing a journey with eight like-minded travelers in a Mercedes vehicle. Here is an honest comparison of the three formats, because the right choice depends on your priorities, not on marketing language.
| Feature | Small Group (4-12) | Private Tour | Large Group (20-40) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Group Size | 4–12 travelers | 2–8 (your party only) | 20–40 strangers |
| Dates | Fixed departure calendar | Any date you choose | Fixed departure calendar |
| Itinerary Flexibility | Set route, some free time | Fully customizable | Rigid schedule |
| Transport | Mercedes minivan | Mercedes sedan or 4x4 | Large coach bus |
| Accommodation | Boutique riads and hotels | Boutique riads and hotels | Chain hotels (bus parking) |
| Guide Attention | Personal and responsive | Fully dedicated to you | Limited (crowd management) |
| Social Element | Strong (shared dinners) | Your group only | Anonymous crowd |
| Price (7-day tour) | $1,500–2,500/person | $2,500–4,500/person | $800–1,200/person |
Small group tours offer the best balance of value, quality, and social experience. You share costs without sacrificing the intimate, boutique experience that makes Morocco travel special.
We designed our group tours around a simple principle: the best travel experiences require small numbers. Morocco’s most memorable moments happen in places that cannot accommodate forty people at once—a family home for a cooking class, a riad courtyard for dinner, a tannery terrace in Fes, a desert camp beneath the stars.
Every Serenity group tour is limited to a maximum of twelve travelers. This number is deliberate: twelve people fit comfortably in a single Mercedes transport vehicle (no convoy driving), can sit together for meals in a riad dining room, and can enter a medina workshop without blocking the doorway. The guide can learn everyone’s name and interests by the end of the first day.
Our accommodation partners are boutique properties—the same riads and kasbahs used on our private tours. We do not use chain hotels that happen to have coach parking. Our guides are the same certified professionals who lead private tours, not seasonal hires reading from scripts. And our vehicles are modern Mercedes with air conditioning, not the repurposed school buses that some operators use to keep costs low.
The result is a group tour that feels personal. You travel with people who share your curiosity and sense of adventure. You stay in properties with character and history. You eat where locals eat. And you pay significantly less than you would on a private tour, because the cost of the guide, vehicle, and experiences is shared among the group.

Inquire About DatesTraveling with your own group of friends, family, or colleagues? Private group tours combine the cost savings of shared travel with the complete flexibility of a private itinerary. Choose your own dates, customize the route, set your own pace, and travel exclusively with people you already know.
Private group tours are our most popular format for family reunions, milestone birthdays, friend trips, and corporate retreats. Because you are booking the same infrastructure as an individual private tour (guide, vehicle, accommodation) but splitting the cost among more people, the per-person price drops significantly. A couple booking a 7-day private tour might pay $3,500 per person. The same tour for a group of six costs roughly $2,200 per person—the same guide, the same vehicle, the same riads.
We handle every detail: dietary requirements, mobility considerations, children’s activities, birthday surprises in the desert, and group dinner reservations in palace restaurants. Your travel designer works with your group to build an itinerary that balances shared experiences with personal freedom—guided mornings with free afternoons, for example, or a split day where half the group goes hiking while the other half visits a hammam.
The more travelers in your group, the more you save. These discounts apply automatically to both scheduled group departures and private group bookings. They reflect the genuine cost savings of shared transport, guides, and logistics—savings we pass directly to you rather than keeping as additional margin.

Twelve travelers. This is a hard limit, not a target. Most departures average six to eight people. Twelve is the maximum that can travel in a single Mercedes minivan, eat together in a riad dining room, and enter a medina workshop without feeling crowded.
Group tours typically cost 30-40% less than equivalent private tours because transport, guide, and accommodation costs are shared. On top of this, groups of 4-5 receive 5% off, groups of 6-8 receive 10% off, and groups of 9-12 receive 15% off the listed price.
Yes. Private group tours are our most popular option for families, friends, and corporate teams. You get group discount pricing with full flexibility: choose your dates, customize the route, and travel exclusively with your own party.
Our travelers are typically 25-70 years old, with the majority in their 30s to 50s. We do not run party tours. Children aged 8 and above are welcome with a parent. The atmosphere is social, culturally curious, and comfortable.
Group tours require a minimum of 4 travelers. If the minimum is not met 30 days before departure, you can transfer to another date at no charge, convert to a private tour at a discounted rate, or receive a full refund.
Absolutely. Roughly 30% of our group bookings are solo travelers. We offer a single supplement for a private room, or you can share with another solo traveler of the same gender. Solo travelers consistently say the social aspect is a highlight.
