We offer tours for all skill levels. Our "All Levels" tours are perfect for enthusiasts with basic camera knowledge - you will learn as you shoot. Intermediate and Professional tours assume familiarity with manual settings and composition basics. If you can shoot in Manual mode and understand basic exposure, you will thrive on any of our tours.
Yes! Morocco permits recreational drone flying in most locations with some restrictions (no flying near airports, military installations, or royal palaces). Our guides know exactly where you can and cannot fly. For the Pro Masterclass, we include dedicated drone photography sessions. Please check your drone is under 250g or register with Moroccan authorities in advance.
We strictly limit groups to 4-6 photographers maximum. This ensures everyone gets optimal shooting positions, personal attention from guides, and enough space at each location. For the Pro Masterclass, groups are limited to just 4 participants. Private tours are available for those wanting 1-on-1 guidance.
We handle all model releases for arranged portrait sessions. Our guides have established relationships with local subjects and can arrange signed releases for professional or commercial use. For candid street photography, we provide guidance on ethical photography practices and help you navigate cultural sensitivities.
Most photography requires early mornings and some walking on uneven terrain. Desert tours involve moderate sand dune climbing (we provide options for different fitness levels). Atlas Mountain locations may involve 1-2 hours of hiking. We always offer alternative viewpoints for those who prefer less strenuous options. Let us know your requirements when booking.
Morocco enjoys 300+ sunny days per year, so poor weather is rare. However, if conditions are suboptimal, our guides adapt immediately - overcast skies are perfect for Chefchaouen's blues, and stormy desert skies create dramatic imagery. We never waste a photography opportunity. Truly unusable conditions are extraordinarily rare.
Absolutely. Morocco offers excellent vegetarian and halal options by default. Vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice. Our accommodations are briefed on your requirements before arrival.
All tours include evening image review sessions. The Imperial Portfolio and Pro Masterclass include structured RAW editing workshops covering Lightroom and Capture One workflows. The Pro Masterclass additionally includes one-on-one editing critiques and publication preparation guidance.
